Buzz Off Buzzing Bee

Instructions

This game can be used to practise spelling, counting forwards or backwards, or skip counting. Teacher selects which activity to do before the game starts.

Example:
Choose a number between 10 and 20. With students standing in a circle, take turns counting backwards from this number until you get to zero. When the last person says 'Zero', the next person then says 'Buzz', the next says 'off', then the next person says 'buzzing', and the next says 'bee'. The person next who says 'bee' is out and sits down. Repeat the process until you have one student left.
